WRITER'S BRIEF OVERVIEW Shaina Thomas has completed a published Master's thesis, debut novel and has worked closely on two publications with distinguished colleagues as a Graduate research assistant at the University of Oklahoma. She continues her work in conducting research as a doctoral candidate aiming to complete a dissertation examining self-efficacy and advocacy for first-generation scholars. She is also preparing to publish a collection of poetry and vignettes while developing a debut feature film shot in Washington, D.C. OTHER VENTURES Shaina has also served as a Career Readiness Coach editing traditional and contemporary resumes, digital portfolios, personal websites and cover letters. CONSULTING SERVICES Consultation with employing and completing each step of the Writing Process for creative leisure, scholarship, practitioner and/or research purposes. Review of cover letters, resumes, portfolios and other materials upon request.
